The breakfast had excellent choices that energized our day.

During my stay, I found the room quite basic and lacking personal touches. The walls were thin, so I could hear noise from the hallway, which hindered my rest. Additionally, the location was a bit far from the main attractions, requiring a lengthy walk to the city center.

We appreciated the efficient shuttle service to the Arena di Verona, which made our evening plans seamless. The peaceful neighborhood allowed for restful nights despite being close enough to the bustling city center.

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Porta Palio. The room was clean and cozy with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was delightful, offering a nice variety, including fresh fruit and a spacious dining area. The location was convenient for walking to the city center.

The hotel staff at Porta Palio helped order food late at night without any hassle, making my arrival smoother. My room was compact yet clean and had modern decor. However, the air conditioning needed some attention since I couldn’t get it to work properly. The bathroom stood out with a spacious shower that, while powerful, had a sliding door that was difficult to maneuver. The breakfast in the dining area was enjoyable, offering a variety of choices without feeling crowded, which made starting the day more satisfying. Although the location required a 10-15 minute walk to reach the center of Verona, I appreciated the balance between cost and convenience. One downside was the lack of sufficient parking security, as the area outside felt a bit sketchy, which made me nervous about leaving my car there overnight. Overall, the experience brought both nice surprises and some issues that could use improvement.

The air conditioning was AMAZING! ! I mean, it was hot outside, but we didn’t even break a sweat inside. Also, the breakfast had great choices that kept our energy up for the day ahead.

It wasn’t cheap, but well, it was still acceptable considering the amenities.

It was just an excellent fit for a short weekend trip in Verona with great value. The shower in the bathroom was really great and refreshing after a long day of exploring. Parking is free outside the hotel, which is a big plus.

Helpful staff made late-night food ordering a breeze, and the room was basic but soundproof. Consider walking to nearby bus stops for city exploration, but expect some sweating in the heat.

The staff offered exceptional assistance with transportation, making our transit seamless. Despite a small bathroom, our room was clean with quality linens. Enjoyed a delightful breakfast with great variety. A tip, call the reception early to book taxis, as they can be hard to secure last minute.

I stayed for 2 nights in a spacious room. It was warm and comfortable in winter. Breakfast had ample options like pastries and fruits. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location was conveniently close to the train station. 😊
